I put it on, grabbed the scissors and made a cut in the centre of the neck line about 8" down. Then with a needle and thread (still wearing the dress) I gathered the material at the cleavage and began to sew. I then gathered more of the fabric at each side and sewed again! Voilà!! A pinupesk dress created for a tenner!!

DIY Pin up/ Rockabilly Dress
I saw this awesome leopard print dress from the little shop of horrors collection on pinupgirlclothing.com (my favourite website) but it was close to $100 with p+p! So, I thought I would try and have a go at creating something similar. I bought this leopard print midi (below) for just £10 on eBay. It's made from a lovely and soft material, but the neck line was pretty unflattering.

Betty Vintage Clothing
So, I went to Portobello Road in search of a 1940s/50s dress for 'the blitz party' that I'm off to for my birthday- so excited! The vintage shops down there are awesome, a little on the pricey side, but if you look hard enough you can find some beautiful pieces.
After hours of searching I came across a gorgeous green number amongst the rails in the market. I believe it's 80s but it's perfect for the 40s/50s look and....it was only £10 down from £12! Bargain!
Apologies, it's a little creased..
